Logotype and Branding for Moon Herbs - an Ayurvedic herbs store & blog based in Prague. The founder is working on educating people about the power of herbs through her blog, explaining Ayurveda with a modern and scientific approach. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that actually means science (Veda) and life (Ayur). It comes from The Vedas, the great knowledge behind Hinduism, and is a Hindu traditional medicine being the oldest health system known. Through thousands of years, this ancient knowledge was covered with mysticism and wisdom so I decided to add a hint of magic to the logo mark. Given the name was Moon Herbs, I chose a crescent moon shape to start with and created an herbal ornament fitting inside of it. A classic vintage typography complemented the overall feel I tried to achieve.
