REAPER - Rebranding project for Audio Software Tool
REAPER is a free digital audio production application for Windows and OS X, offering full multitrack audio and mastering features.
My goal was to re-design the interface with special consideration for mixing live audio during a performance on a touch screen device. I would like you to present my concept with a full break down of the creative process including all considerations: brand, UX, UI & IA. Key Requirements: • Redesign the main view, including multitrack and mixer (see reference) use with a touchscreen. • Accessibility; especially considerations for color-blindness. • Produce a final presentation demonstrating your design and choices. Considerations: • Consider the expected operating environment that sound engineers work in, for example, low-light situations.
