Data Center Saas Admin Portal
Here is some work we did this week for a colocation Saas platform. Aside from a useful dashboard with pretty graphs, the product’s most frequently used feature is viewing and taking action on ticket requests. Tickets are used for a wide variety of cases – customers can request physical actions or hardware changes at their data centers, power cycles or crash carts, and disaster recovery services to name a few.
Following months of research, and user interviews we discovered this screen to be the most frustrating for users to interact with, and it just so happens to be the most used feature on the platform.
Our primary objective was breaking down the vast amount of data to rearchitect a less overwhelming, and more efficient user admin experience. Here is a snippet of our proposed solution, and we hope to show more of this project in 2020.
