Favicon compliant with theme colors

The idea we had was that the favicon should always reflect the theme colors, and we needed to find a way of programmatically (is that a word?) feed the browser the favicon. Why? Well we're targeting super small IoT-processors and every bit is of great importance. The result was pleasing, the journey was hard. We ended up using a canvas to create the bitmap icon on the fly.
