The Policy Compass
Here's a look at the Polco logo!
One of the original intentions behind the name Polco was "Policy Compass." It's a metaphor that helps share the story of what they do. By providing access to a more representative sample of the public opinion, they equip local leaders with data to make better decisions.
While they don't use "Policy Compass" in any formal fashion, we didn't want that part of their history to go to waste. Their new logo is made up of quotation marks that communicate the idea of many voices coming together or community. But the tails of the quotes also point to north, east, south, and west and abstractly look like the "Compass Rose" which is the symbol to represent coordinates on a map.
