Sofie Darling | Brand Identity

One of my responsibilities while I worked at FingerPulse Media was to create logo designs for our clients. One of them is a historical romance author who goes by Sofie Darling. She came to us asking for an elegant, modern logo that she will be using on her book covers, social media, and other mediums to promote her work. My initial thought was to hand letter her name and see if she liked the idea. Spoiler alert: she didn't. I then searched modern and intricate fonts. I stumbled upon this one that I immediately went to work. I played with every letter variation from the font in her name until it looked beautiful and elegant. She was so happy with the end result which then later came back for more projects!
