Bronchoscopic Surgical Navigation UI - Path Navigation

This UI combines several different viewpoints for the surgeon to be able to plan their surgical path.

A virtual 3D model of a patient's lung is built from CT scans of their chest. A CT scan is shown in the top right. This dynamically updates as the the surgeon progresses down the path. Most surgeons are more familiar with looking at CT scans than the virtual 3D view through their training.

The path info gives more precise measurements of where their probe is in relation to the target that they are planning to take a tissue sample.

It's important for a surgeon to know the size of the airway path which continues to decrease the further along the path they go. The main surgical risks are hitting a blood vessel which would fill the patient's lung with blood and puncturing the pleura.
