sigmavista it consulting (rejected)

I had the honor to design the logo of the new founded IT company called "sigmavista". This was my favorite version, but unfortunately it got rejected because of two reasons:
1. Our law department argued that the big sigma is too dominant within the symbol and therefore it will not be possible to register it as a trademark.
2. My boss said that it looks too technical and I should only use 2 colors without any gradients.

That's a real big pity because I like the solution very very much. The finally approved logo is the next shot, check it out!
