2019 WYO Poster Animation
If you’re a filmmaker, you may already know how cool the WYO Film Festival can be. As a fan of the festival, I was honored to be part of their animation team.
HOW IT ALL WENT DOWN:
This project involved plenty of back-of-forth with other team members, including working directly with the lead designer. As is often the case, I started with very little in the way of a brief. They simply showed me what they were working on and asked me to animate it. And while some may have been uncomfortable with so little guidance, I took one look at their work and immediately knew how to bring it to life. After 2 weeks of elbow grease and too much coffee, I delivered a looping animation sequence that they pushed out on all their social channels.
