Museica 2018: 3. Non Me Lo Posso Permettere's Illustration
Non Me Lo Posso Permettere
I made this design inspired by the song "I can not afford it" by Caparezza, contained in his 2014 Museica album. Every track of the CD takes its inspiration from an artistic, pictorial, sculptural work or a mural, I can not afford it inspired by the triptych "the three studies of Lucian Freud", a work created by the Irish painter Francis Bacon and that in 2013 were auctioned at the highest ever recorded price: $ 142.2 million, hence the title of the song. my design is also inspired by a work by Bansky, the child holding the balloon and its meaning is linked to the impossibility of achieving something, like a dream and the tragedy for it.
