Henderson Family Crest

A simple family crest representing the family my wife and I started when we were married in 1995. It was loosely inspired by the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and captures a few core attributes of who we are. The arrows represent our three children. The swords represent the Holy Spirit, as well as my wife and I. The shield represents our faith and the open Bible represents God's ever-present Word in our lives. The cross represents the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The buffalo represents our roots in Nebraska and South Dakota, and the flag represents our love for America. This will eventually be transferred to wood or metal and hung in our home.
