The Goodest Noodle

So I love snakes and it always breaks my heart how people don't know that many species of snakes are literally adorable sweet little noodles. I have 7 Ball Pythons, 4 which are rescues. Ball Pythons aren't venomous, nor are any other python and boa constrictor species. Ball Python's teeth are actually pathetically tiny. Most of them won't bite even if you try to provoke them, they just get scared. The mean noodles like Cobras and Vipers actually EAT the friendly snakes!

Most artists that have illustrated snakes seem to be really into just doing this ethereal floral arrangement type of thing with a snake or two winding through. Very pleasant, but not really my style.

Pop Art and Memphis Design have been a huge influence on me for over a decade. The somewhat recent resurgence in the 90's design and Brutalist design aesthetics also have helped me to continue experiementing and allowing myself to mix influences in unexpected ways.

Earlier this year I discovered that there is a huge community of snake and reptile lovers, so I began illustrating, designing fun little products and taking commissions. The second image shows some of the buttons I made with this design.
