Branding for Yuliana Yednak

Yuliana Yednak is a creative hairstylist from Kyiv, Ukraine. Her aesthetics can be described as minimalism with a touch of punk. She has quite a philosophic approach to her work and treats hair like a true artist treats the canvas. She also works with vegan materials & cares about sustainability.
We collaborated closely with Yuliana to design a visual identity that introduces the brand and helps to communicate the story behind it.
We wanted to create as little branding as possible. No color, no unnecessary elements, and visual distractions.
We think that the brand’s roots are not in the visual side of it, but in the work itself, that Yuliana does every day — creating hairstyles for her clients, and having interesting conversations about art with them.
