Reimagined Hero for Nonprofit Site

Design is never neutral. It can hurt or it can help. Nonprofit organizations doing really important social justice work need to get with the times when it comes to design. Design that is intentional and human-centered can help push social movements forward and create change.

Here, I redesigned my nonprofit's website hero. The first is the redesigned concept, the second is the current hero. It's not a crazy redesign, but it shows how little design changes, particularly around the use of photography, can create a much more powerful and rewarding experience.
