Travel Itinerary

My initial exploration into a travel itinerary app. I based the end-user goals on problems I've personally tried to solve when travelling.

I used to create spreadsheets sorted by days on the x axis and times on the y. I would paste travel details and ideas for things to do in the cells and share it with friends.

In this design I'm seeking to improve upon that experience. Users create new trips, fill in their basic travel info such as departure, arrive dates and cities. The app would then pre-create the itinerary with the correct amount of days. From there the user could go into each day of the itinerary and begin to add things they want to do.

An explore page would give users a way to look up trip ideas that they could then save and add to the day planner. Trips would be shareable and editable by multiple users, they could also be shared publicly to give other travelers ideas for things to do. Lastly, it would provide a great memory book to look back on.
