Apple Mail App Redesign

The Apple mail application on both iOS and OS is long overdue for a redesign. It's UI is dated, and its UX is sluggish and has fallen behind competitors such as Edison Mail, Gmail, and Outlook.

In this mockup, I've made a focus on creating a user experience that is orientated towards categorizing and sorting your mail easily, efficiently, and constantly.

The biggest headache I have with my email is sorting and managing numerous accounts. With the built in Assistant, managed with user ability to self-sort, the application smart sorts emails to their appropriate categories for later viewing based on category filters.
