Chicago Latina Equal Pay Day 2019

I was asked to design a logo that would represent Latina Equal Pay Day for an event held in Chicago. Latina's make 53 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men, so I broke up the letters to represent that income disparity. Hopefully you these letters change over time and close that gap.
