Sailor Leather Logo (wip)

Hi everyone!

I want to follow the path that I trully love, and that is to create things with my hands.

Sooner or later I'll start my project of handmade leather goods (belts, wallets and that kind of stuff). I am working on my visual identity. To create this piece I used as references, the icon of leather and shaped the bottom like boats to create the shield looking forms, added waves and in the center a tool for skiving leather. I think I am very close to where I want to get with my logo. A sophisticated yet simple logo that is unique. What do you think?
