Fast-paced living, tight schedules and difficulties with maintaining a healthy work/life balance – on the rare occasion you’ve got leftover energy after leaving work, it’s nice to treat yourself to a nice (not necessarily fancy) dinner out and cool off.
Then again, what different is eating out alone from simply getting delivery and binging another series on, say, Netflix in your sweatpants? And trying to actually meet up with other adults seems nigh impossible. Well, not anymore it doesn’t!
Meating is an app designed to bring social dining back into the real world. Simply choose the place and time, then all you have to do is send out invitations and wait. Too many rejected invitations? Go down the list and send in small batches – after all, you’re out for blood (or anything else if rare steaks aren’t your thing).
Call it “reverse Uber Eats” if you will. But we’ll take it over seeming desperate and mass sending messages via text or our messenger apps of choice 😉
