This illustration or design is inspired by a simple story by the great Woody Allen, "Melinda and Melinda" in which the same actress has the leading role in two storylines, one funny and one sad as though they were two parallel worlds. More than trying to tell us how to take things, I think that the movie tries to reflect on how the dramas and comedies live together in the same person and how difficult it is trying to distinguish them sometimes.
