Stamps //Jose Posada

These are postage stamps I'm working on for the Caribbean island of Grenada. They celebrate the 100th memorial anniversary of Jose Posada, a mexican artist and printmaker. I really love this kind of stuff, as a fan of skeletons and day of the dead folk art in general, I ecstatically took to opportunity to commemorate this anniversary.

Since Posada's prints are black and white, I wanted to design the rest of the sheet in bright vibrent colors that remind me of that beautiful Día de los Muertos folk art.
