"The Water is Fine"

If only Memphis leadership focused on our schools instead of the surveillance of citizens. 39 Shelby County schools have been found to have high levels of lead in the drinking fountains. Meanwhile, our superintendent says “The water is fine. The water is fine,” 🚫💧

For reference, our mayor and MPD have had activists and other citizens under surveillance. Law enforcement even had a church under surveillance because they were hosting community organizing meetings to empower people to fight against injustice.
