Maps for the Future: 2D Map

For our final project, I decided to talk about the effects marine pollution has on sea organisms -- mainly using seagulls, sea turtles, whales, and sea horses to represent my data.

These animals each represent a piece of information: each seagull represents the deaths of 250,000 seagulls from marine pollution; each sea turtle represents 200 sea turtles that die from plastic waste, each whale represents 50,000 whale deaths from marine pollution; each sea horse represents 1 billion pounds of trash that enter the ocean each year.
