Atlassian report for The Design Genome Project
InVision’s Design Education team created the Design Genome Project to uncover the “superpowers” of the world’s most successful design teams. We launched the project with reports on Netflix, Shopify, Slack, Capital One, and Pinterest. New reports were added individually during the next year.
I led campaign copywriting for the initial launch—including announcement emails, blog posts, paid ad copy, posts on Dribbble and Product Hunt, and nurture emails. On a regular basis after the initial launch, I:
- Helped conduct interviews with design executives, wrote custom questions, took notes
- Drew org structure and design process diagrams
- Served as the lead writer for Crate and Barrel, USAA, and Atlassian reports
- Wrote campaign copy for almost every individual launch to date
- Tracked launch campaign stats and strategized content optimizations to improve engagement
