Initial Character Costume

I fancied a change from faces, so started coming up with costume ideas for my protagonist. I'm going for not-too-posh, and the character is an elderly gent from the 1800's.

Ignore the military great-coat one, that's just for my girlfriend's benefit (sharpe fan).
