Inu Hariko

Inu Hariko are adorable little dogs made with papier-maché (Hariko means papier-maché in Japanese) It is a traditional symbol of protection in Japan. Since Edo period, dogs are guardians of the house and the family. Inu Hariko is offer to children or pregnant women to wish a good luck and to protect them.
