Ultima Payments - Logo Design

Unused concept for a new payment gateway that differentiates from other well-known platforms by not needing a credit card for making your transactions.

An old logo design was very old-schoolish. Multiple colors, shading & even use of gradient at the same time. A goal was to set up a simple, modern logo that will work even as an icon of the app on your smartphone.

The most critical part of the design phase was when I have not received a proper brief of the project. Due to a fact that the whole platform operates without using credit cards, the essential part of my concept (which is a silhouette of 💳) does not give the right message & meaning of the project.

I suppose this belongs to part of our work. Regardless of the result, good communication between a designer & client is one of the most crucial parts for a high quality outcomes.
