Reconstruction of madhubani, traditional painting of the indian state of Bihar.
Drawn in natural colors on textured paper; primed with turmeric powder, diluted in rice broth; black paint is made of coal, yellow is made of turmeric, orange is unknown to me Hanuman powder, green is ground spinach, the basis for paints is rice broth. The tool is a thin brush.
The figure shows a mandala with the tree of life in the center and various forms of this very life in circles.
