Chi-town Stand Up

The Chicagoan was a lifestyle magazine that was published from 1926 to 1935. Much in the same vein as The New Yorker, its writings revolved around the cultural goings-on of the city. A year ago I came across an online archive of the magazine's covers (here's the one that this drawing is based off of: http://t.co/39QXkE0X) and thought the masthead might make a nice display face.

After nearly twelve months of mulling it over I finally decided to jump in and see what's what.
