Transportation logistics are a normal part of the trip planning process. A survey with Hoppers' bookers indicated that 14% of them would be using a car rental to reach their hotel or destination and, from this number, 82% said that they had not yet booked their transportation.

With this opportunity ahead of us, we teamed up with Rentalcars.com to offer US bookers the opportunity to rent a car for their trip. Since 90% of them revisit their Trip Itinerary prior to their departure, we decided to first explore an organic discovery and offer a simple entry point on the Trip Itinerary and include an interstitial screen to expose the value proposition of the product.
