Daily UI #074 - App Download

Thoughts on Today’s Challenge
As each challenge passes, I realize I am crossing into a more obscure landscape. There are fewer examples on Dribble, and I am starting to recognize specific users that have made it this far. The experience makes me think of the phrase, “born too late to explore to the planet, born too early to explore the universe”. I used to believe this statement, however now I say pshhhhh to that. There is always something out there to explore, maybe now you just have to be more creative. This challenge has been my form of exploration, and every day I look forward to the next challenge. I am starting to feel a sense of sadness, knowing that one day I will be done with this challenge.

Anyways, I digress. Let me talk about my design for a bit. The final direction I decided to go in was to create a splash page for an app download. I immediately thought of one of the earliest challenges I completed. https://dribbble.com/shots/6825300-Daily-UI-003-Splash-Page

This is a mockup for my faux company Shaper, a lifestyle app geared towards helping people overcome mental illness. For this shot, I wanted to use high-quality photography to do much of the heavy lifting. This photo is from Shiva Smyth on a Pexels. https://www.pexels.com/photo/closeup-photography-of-stacked-stones-1051449/?utm_content=attributionCopyText&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=pexels

Also, shoutout to my friend Ramin who recently started the Daily UI challenge. Check him out here:
