Londrina | Atlantic Forest
The Atlantic Forest is the South American forest that extends thru the whole coast of Brazil to the north. This is the forest the Portuguese Colonists encounter when arrived in the region, as the Brazilian cities whore created and developed at those settlements, it's estimated the around 85% have been deforested over the past 500 years.
It is also the forest I've had contact with growing up, my parents have always brought me to conservation parks and teach me how to enjoy the uniqueness and beautifulness of this environment, clean and fresh air, immense diverse ecosystem and a sense of peacefulness that is hard to describe into words. I love nature thanks to this special tropical forest that hardly get mentioned when people talk about Brazil, even with the amount that has been devasted there is still so much to be enjoyed and it can still be preserved and co-exist with the growth of the cities.
