Aspire to lead a quiet life

Lately I've been inspired by Dana Tanamachi's chalk creations, so I thought I'd take a crack at my own using one of my favorite verses.

I don't have access to any chalk/boards, and I was too lazy to actually do any of the lettering by hand, so I tried to replicate the "look" using existing fonts. I also converted the text to paths, then simplified them, to remove some of the polish. I tried a number of textures to make the text look like chalk, but couldn't find anything convincing enough. If anyone has any suggestions on how to do that, I'd love to hear them.

Overall, I'm pretty dang happy with how it turned out. I think I'll try some more!
