LLBean: Welcome Email Concept
Problem: First in a series of three emails to show a system concept for email marketing that takes into consideration; layout, call-to-action copy, customer interaction and UX best practices. This "Welcome" email serves two purposes; one, to allow the subscriber to custom the types of emails they want to see as well as how frequently and two, to encourage the receiver to make a purchase.
Solution: Created a layout that is usable cross platform on multiple devices easily. The design is uncluttered and has lots of white space for legibility, uses an inverted triangle to draw the eye to the orange button and built on a grid system for modularity. Any interaction activity is clearly labeled through button shape and color indicators. Lastly, personalization through copy and image choice is employed which is shown through research to increase reader engagement.
