Londrina | Coat of Arms

Londrina first appeared on maps in 1929 as part of an English rail project. On August 21st of the same year, the first expedition of the Companhia de Terras do Norte do Paraná (Northern Paraná Land Company) arrived at where Londrina was going to be founded. The city name is an allusion to the daughters of London and was officially decreed on December 3rd of 1934.
