Slowly finishing up Inktober 😬🙃. One of my biggest inspirations that I was introduced to in college, is Alphonse Mucha. I first saw the “Moon” from “The Moon and the Stars” series in a poster shop and had it up on my wall. I then learned all about Mucha in art history and was just blown away by all of his beautiful work. His lines. The flowers. The layout and movement. Stunning. I, unfortunately, missed the Mucha show in New York (it literally ended the weekend before I went 😭), but hoping to catch it at one of its future stops. 😁
The Moon and the Stars series is one of my favorites from Mucha. It’s one that I’ve had on my list to get tattoos of, although I also love his season ones and so many others. I think eventually when I muster up the courage for a tattoo, it’ll be a Mucha one for sure. [But no, I don’t draw tattoos. Won’t be drawing my own. or anyone else ]😉😬😶
