Mingle

Second direction (and chosen one), for mingle.io a hosted database platform that will allow app developers to easily mix online different data sets in their application. See attachment for a visual explanation on the bottom.

The aim here was to create a symbol that would convey the meaning of the word mingle, the parts mix together but they retain their individual characteristics.
So the next iteration from the previous mark was to better individualize the pieces that form the whole and to better convey the structured data concept, so lines were more in alignment here since stacked lines are also used to describe databases.
