Brooklyn Music School 2019 Gala – Visual Identity

The Brooklyn Music School is a community school located in downtown Brooklyn whose mission is to make performance and music education accessible to a broader audience in New York and the world. I lead the visual identity design for this year’s gala taking place in November at BAM's Lepercq Space.

The visual identity draws cues from vintage jazz covers and carries free-form energy through the playful stylizations of the instruments. All the shapes and colors come together on the compositions to emphasize this year’s theme of Restore & Revitalize.
