Designed Out Of Love - Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Initiative

The Project: This is a personal project for me—Designed Out Of Love's purpose is to help protect children from sexual abuse, and when having an age-appropriate conversation about the cause, my 5-year-old son said, "I don't want kids to be hurt" and wrote out each letter forming the logo.

From there, the initiative was formed to include a fundraising awareness and prevention campaign with a pin and sticker for purchase. All profits were donated to organizations working to stop child sexual abuse. An awareness campaign was also launched on Facebook and Instagram during the month of April—Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month #SAAPM. The campaign provided prevention information and support to anyone with children in their lives or who may be survivors in need of support.
