Alpha Assessment & Counseling, LLC. is dedicated to providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families in rural Oklahoma. Individuals with mental, behavioral, and developmental disorders in rural areas often have trouble finding appropriate services. While the prevalence of mental illness is similar between rural and urban areas, the services available are very different. Mental healthcare needs are not being met in many rural communities across the state because adequate services are not available. Their goal as mental health professionals is to provide accessibility, availability and acceptability to consumers in Oklahoma. They are dedicated to make every effort to develop, maintain, and expand out-patient mental health services in rural communities. Their team focuses on access issues, anonymity, stigma, integration of mental health services, and suicide prevention.
