Esper – a modern framework for public policy

Today I want to introduce you to Esper. Esper’s mission is to bring a digital transformation to America’s legislation system. We’ve teamed up with them in a quest for making the policymaking process more seamless, transparent, and data-driven through building beautiful software.

The first screen I want to show you is a Kanban board that allows teams to collaborate on ever-changing policies and keep track of progress. The cards represent either steps of the rulemaking process (actions tied to particular policies, for instance amendments and repeals) or tasks (actions not directly related to the rule approval process, such us research and organisational chores).

To quote a classic: “What? Like it’s hard?“
