Logo Icon concepts for Invicta Medical

I was exploring various ways to combine not only the 'i' and 'm' from Invicta Medical's name but also to create an icon that communicated something about the high-tech nature of the medical devices they produce. With the first idea I tried to create a shape that looked like a sun rising over some mountains to signify an improved outlook for patients lives that the devices offer.
The lower option meanwhile was based on a circuit diagram as the medical device's core innovation is to cure sleep apnoea by stimulating muscles in the throat using electricity.
