Designed this logo for a phone app focused on the relationships between a teacher/counselor and student(s). Every time we hear those words "time2talk" it means business or a serious discussion is about to occur between two persons or a group of people. Decided to change that aspect into a friendlier vibe/tone by making the text more playful and welcoming. Added the two shapes on the top of “k” to put emphasis “exclamation point (!) ” on the seriousness back but subtly. The two shapes represent an exchange of conversation between two persons. Think of it like “a sender and a receiver”. The teacher is leading the conversation and the student is capturing it. Went with two soft colors “soft cyan” and “lila soft purple” mixed with a dark contrast/neutral color for relief.
