Art Direction & Graphic Design for Telepopmusik Breathe Remixes

"Breathe" is the title of the debut single by the French dance music band Télépopmusik. Released in 2002, it reached #42 on the UK Singles Chart and reached its peak chart position on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart (#9). Today remixed by Kartell, Cézaire, Duñe, and Katuchat artists, all four from the French label Roche Musique founded and managed by Jean Janin.

Based on an idea from Jean, we sought to find the right way to link the wave symbol of the Roche Musique logo with the Telepopmusik typography. The research and selection of images allowed us to solidify the intention and reduce the immense creative field of possibilities.
