Arjuna’s Penance is an extract from the story of Mahabharata, The concept of the story encompasses Hindu philosophy where it is belived that one could by penance. The composition of the relief sculpture include scenes of the natural and celestial worlds. Here I took the one of part from the whole composition for the natural sized elephants are protecting their childs.
