Hate waiting in long lines at the grocery store? For those of you like me who want to pick out the produce yourself, online ordering is not a viable option. So what do you do? Use Crunch to check which grocery stores are experiencing peak hours. Crunch stores your membership cards electronically so that you can access and scan them at check out. When you check out, you're also "checking in"--the app will collect data about the location, date, and time of your check out. The ultimate goal is for everyone to use this app to store their membership cards so that we can actually measure how busy a store is in real-time and report it back to patrons. The data works both ways though--Crunch also crunches the numbers on how often you shop so you can track spending, savings, and other metrics.
