(Live Music) Poster Design - 03

I wanted to create a personal project that allowed me room to experiment with imagery and typography for a fictional live music venue.
I started the project with rough drafts of layouts, and quick sketches for the illustrations. The design were created using a combinations of Affinity Designer, and Photoshop for the Illustrations.
The Illustrations were inspired loosely by Rorschach tests, but with a science fiction twist. This idea fit well with the music theme, as people's interpretations of music can be vastly different, as can Rorschach test results.
The complexity of the Illustrations needed to be offset with the graphic design, as to create contrast in the design. As such, I kept the design minimal and to the point with the information.
