DailyUI #003 : eCommerce Landing Page

Today's objective was to create a landing page of my choosing. I decided to flesh out the jewelry ecommerce site I created last time. (Also, I tweaked some of the fonts and ended up using Overpass.

For this imagined site which features only jewelry, I broke down navigation into categories of jewelry type + collections, collections being the landing/home page. On the landing page, there is a left navigation that coincides with the user's scroll point. The left navigation also automatically expands to show additional filters per collection. When clicking one of these, it would open up in a new page showing all of the items that pertain to that filter. The user can also easily scroll horizontally and view more pieces of a collection without leaving the page by clicking on the arrow to the right of the collection pieces or using their fingers to scroll.
