High level summary:

After some initial research and competitive analysis, I decided to focus on redesigning the native mobile weather app that comes predownloaded on Apple iPhones. It turns out that most users rely on the native app built into their phone, rather than downloading a specific weather app.

My goals were to simplify the user interface and create better groupings of weather forecast information, align to the visual brand and design system being implemented in iOS 13 and to develop a set of icons that felt visually distinct from each other and easier to decipher at smaller scales.
