Dribbble Warmup - Placida

Meet Placida, the grocery and meal planner! Placida (name derived from Latin, meaning calm, untroubled) does all your grocery shopping for you, plans your meals for the week, and reminds you what you have to eat each day.

A little about my process... I gave myself an hour to complete this design, from planning to execution. To kick things off, I thought to myself, what process in my life would I most want to be automated? Answer: meal planning and grocery shopping. When thinking about what my robot should look like for this Dribbble warmup, I decided to use a paper grocery bag, which is symbolic to me of groceries and planning ahead. The tennis shoes were inspired by the March of Dimes sneakers they used to post at our local bank to symbolize donations to March of Dimes.

Now if only I had a real-life Placida!
